Russian attacks killed at least 23 people across Ukraine on Friday, with ten dead and around 100 wounded in the Kyiv region and five killed by aerial bombs in Sloviansk, after earlier barrages this week left dozens dead. A strike on energy infrastructure in the Chernihiv region cut power to nearly 150,000 residents, while three people were killed in Sumy and one died in Kherson.
Ukraine retaliated overnight, with drones striking three logistics centres operated by Russian e-commerce firm Wildberries, including a warehouse in Yekaterinburg where a fire broke out. A separate strike in Kirov hit a factory producing aircraft and missile components, killing six.
In Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia, a Ukrainian raid killed eight people, including two children.
