Ukraine and Russia traded heavy drone and missile salvos overnight into Monday, killing at least nine people across both sides of the front line. In Ukraine, Russian strikes killed four people, including three in the central Dnipropetrovsk region — two at an industrial site in Kryvyi Rih — and a 48-year-old man in Kherson.
Ukrainian forces also launched strikes on Russian territory and Russian-occupied areas, killing five people. A massive drone wave targeting the Moscow region killed three and wounded five, with Governor Andrei Vorobyov reporting the overnight assault. Moscow's mayor said 50 drones were downed heading toward the capital, out of more than 350 approaching the wider region. Four people also died in Ukrainian strikes on Russian-occupied Enerhodar.
Diplomatically, U.S. President Donald Trump signaled willingness to license domestic missile production for Kyiv, while at least 25 heads of state convene in Paris on Tuesday to coordinate further support.
