Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Russia prepared missiles for a new massive attack that could arrive within 48 hours from July 25.
The alert followed deadly strikes on July 24, when Russian missile attacks on the Kyiv region killed at least 10 civilians and wounded roughly 100. In the northeast, a jet-powered drone strike on a post office in Sumy left two people dead and two injured, while guided aerial bombs killed five in Sloviansk and damaged the Latvian consulate there.
Zelensky also said Moscow is preparing a significant new mobilisation wave for autumn and announced that drone cooperation with the United States will include a factory on American soil using Ukrainian technology. He is expected to meet U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington next week.
