Seven people were killed and at least 67 injured across Ukraine after Russia launched more than 130 attack drones and eight missiles overnight and into Friday morning, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The strikes hit Odesa, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Kherson, Donetsk and Dnipro regions, following earlier attacks this week that killed 13 people nationwide. In Odesa, a missile strike on a residential building killed two people and wounded five, while two others died in the Zaporizhzhia region. Russia targeted Black Sea port infrastructure at Odesa and Chornomorsk, including a drone production facility, and a firefighting vessel was hit at Chornomorsk.

The Ukrainian Air Force intercepted five missiles and 115 drones, though strikes caused widespread power outages across five regions and extensive damage to medical centres, residential buildings and public transport. Attacks on 159 vessels in the Black and Azov seas have been recorded since July 6.
