Russian guided aerial bombs struck residential areas of Zaporizhzhia, killing at least two people and injuring 42 others, including eight children. Regional governor Ivan Fedorov reported that the strikes targeted residential sectors, with emergency crews providing psychological support to dozens of affected citizens after the blast completely destroyed two floors of a five-story apartment building.

Simultaneous strikes targeted northern and southern regions, including a vital gas compressor station hit in Sumy, a key hub for Ukraine's transport network. Overnight drone operations also saw Ukrainian defenses neutralizing 46 out of 58 Russian drones across seven localities, though a woman was killed in Kherson during the bombardment.

Outside the mainland, regional maritime tensions rose after a Liberian-registered tanker carrying liquefied petroleum gas caught fire in the Black Sea after being hit, while New Delhi summoned a Russian diplomat following a cargo ship attack that left four Indian nationals dead.
