Jamal Musiala collapsed without contact for a second time in four days after coming on as a substitute in Bayern Munich's 4-2 friendly victory over second-division 1. FC Heidenheim on Tuesday. The 23-year-old Germany international, substituted on in the 61st minute, went down around eight minutes later, prompting teammates Jonathan Tah and Harry Kane to rush to his aid as medical staff formed a protective circle. A hushed silence fell over the stadium before Musiala was helped to his feet and escorted to the dressing room.

The cause of Tuesday's collapse remains unclear, following his earlier spell in which he cited dizziness, circulatory problems and feverishness. Medical tests after Saturday's incident produced no concerning diagnosis. Sporting director Max Eberl said the priority was that the player was "doing well."

Bayern expect Musiala to rejoin group training this week ahead of Saturday's Supercup against Borussia Dortmund, with manager Vincent Kompany also planning to field Kane, Michael Olise and Dayot Upamecano.
