Bayern Munich have signed 18-year-old Senegalese midfielder Bara Sapoko Ndiaye to a professional contract running through June 2031, rewarding a rapid rise from loan arrival to first-team regular.

Ndiaye joined Bayern on loan from Gambian club Gambinos Stars Africa during the January transfer window and went on to make four Bundesliga appearances in the second half of the 2025/26 season, including a debut against St. Pauli on matchday 29. He was also called up to Senegal's 2026 World Cup squad, featuring once at the tournament. Off the pitch, Ndiaye recorded a sprint speed of 36 km/h at Bayern's training campus, a club speed record.

Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund praised Ndiaye's character and development. The teenager, who has since learned German, will be available for the season opener against Borussia Dortmund in the Franz Beckenbauer Super Cup on 22 August.
