Bayern Munich and midfielder Konrad Laimer have agreed on a contract extension running through the summer of 2029, the club announced Monday, one day after the World Cup final.
The 29-year-old has made 136 competitive appearances since arriving from RB Leipzig in 2023, a span in which he collected two Bundesliga titles, one DFB-Pokal and one Supercup. Laimer was a key figure in Vincent Kompany's squad last season as Bayern secured a domestic double.
The Austria international was with his national team at the World Cup in North America before finalising the deal. The announcement came following extended negotiations over the terms of the new contract.
