Bayern Munich have firmly rejected any prospect of selling Michael Olise during the summer transfer window, with sporting director Christoph Freund dismissing a move to Real Madrid as not a topic of discussion.
Olise, whose contract runs until 2029, has recorded 42 goals and 54 assists across two seasons with the Bavarian club and is expected to play a leading role in the upcoming campaign. Freind indicated the club is planning an early contract extension, while Real Madrid have reportedly shifted their attention to RB Leipzig's Yan Diomande.
The transfer clarity came as Bayern opened pre-season with a 2-1 defeat to second-division SV Wehen Wiesbaden, fielding a starting lineup with an average age under 18. The club next faces Borussia Dortmund in the Supercup on 22 August.
