Michael Olise has privately told French national team teammates he intends to leave Bayern Munich and join Real Madrid this summer, according to multiple reports on Thursday.
The winger, valued at roughly 150 million euros, has sought information about life at Real Madrid from club stalwarts Kylian Mbappé, Aurélien Tchouaméni and Ibrahima Konaté. Olise is coming off his best season, registering 27 goals and 33 assists across 68 appearances. Bayern teammate Dayot Upamecano is said to be lobbying hard for Olise to stay.
Real Madrid denied in June 2026 having any direct or indirect contact with the player. Olise's contract with Bayern runs until June 2029 and contains no release clause. Sky reported that Olise has not communicated any transfer intentions to the club, while Fabrizio Romano noted Bayern have received no contrary signals from the player.
