Jamal Musiala collapsed without opposition contact in the 84th minute and required on-field medical attention during Bayern Munich's 3-1 Telekom Cup victory over RB Leipzig on Friday, though he later left the pitch walking. No immediate diagnosis was available.

The incident overshadowed a match played before 75,000 spectators in 33-degree heat. Luis Díaz opened the scoring in the 13th minute, Brajan Gruda equalised for Leipzig in the 52nd, and Nathaniel Brown restored Bayern's lead five minutes later. Musiala had sealed the win with the third goal in the 81st, assisted by debutant Ismael Saibari.

Bayern, missing Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Dayot Upamecano, also saw Konrad Laimer and Minjae Kim leave injured. The Bavarians face Borussia Dortmund in Saturday's Franz Beckenbauer Supercup before their Bundesliga opener against VfB Stuttgart on 28 August.
