A Ukrainian drone attack on a Wildberries logistics centre in Kotovsk has killed seven night-shift employees and wounded 24 others, Russian officials said on Friday.
Tambov region governor Evgeny Pervyshov confirmed the deaths and said the ensuing fire at the western Russian facility had been extinguished. The strike was part of a broader overnight assault, with Russian authorities reporting that more than 370 drones were launched toward the Moscow region.
Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin said the majority of the drones were neutralised at a distance by air defence systems, with 64 destroyed before reaching the capital. The Kotovsk strike marks one of the deadliest single drone attacks on a civilian commercial site deep inside Russian territory during the ongoing conflict.
