Finland faces a similar pattern as a low-pressure system brings cloud and rain, with the heaviest precipitation in eastern and northern areas late in the week. Finnish daytime temperatures are around 20 degrees in the south and 15 in the north, marking the end of summer heat above 25 degrees.
Beyond the immediate rain, autumn is forecast to be warmer than normal across Finland by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, while Sweden can expect drier, high-pressure conditions next week — though no meaningful return of summer warmth is likely in August.
