A man in his 20s has been charged with murder following a violent incident in Sandnes, Norway, that left a man in his 50s dead. The suspect was arrested at the scene after emergency services received a call from dispatchers at 4:02 a.m. local time early Monday.
Police in the Sørvest district said the investigation remains in an early phase, though officers have interviewed several witnesses. The two men were known to each other and both had ties to the address where the incident occurred, according to police.
