A man was found dead outside a motel in Rosersberg, Sigtuna, prompting Swedish police to open a murder investigation after discovering injuries on the body inconsistent with natural causes.
Officers were called to the scene at around 1 a.m. on Sunday after a bystander reported finding a lifeless person outdoors near the motel. Emergency responders attempted CPR but the victim could not be saved. Both the deceased and the suspect are middle-aged men.
A suspect was arrested in the area shortly after the discovery, and investigators have said they are not seeking additional suspects. Forensic technicians have cordoned off the scene to conduct a technical examination.
