Seven people were injured when a wooden barn bridge collapsed during a wedding photo shoot in Grue, Innlandet county, on Saturday afternoon, Norwegian police said. One person was airlifted to Ullevål Hospital in Oslo with suspected serious injuries, while four others were transported to Kongsvinger Hospital for examination.
The incident occurred at approximately 14:51 local time at the Norwegian Forest Finn Museum's visitor site at Gamle Gruetunet in Kirkenær. Operations manager Per Solberg said around 20 people were on the bridge when it gave way. Police received the initial report at 14:21.
Operations manager Pål Gjestvang confirmed the casualty count shortly before 16:30. Fire services responded with crew and command vehicles. Police described at least one person as seriously injured at the scene.
