German tourist bus overturns on Norwegian highway, injuring several passengers

A German tourist bus carrying approximately 30 passengers overturned on the E6 highway in Namsskogan, Trøndelag, on Saturday morning, leaving several people injured after the vehicle left the road and came to rest on its side.

Police received the first emergency call at 11:30 a.m., and ambulances reached the scene shortly after, with air ambulances and rescue helicopters also dispatched. Local police identified the vehicle as a German-registered tourist coach. While initial reports suggested serious injuries among passengers, authorities later downgraded assessments to minor injuries, though the full extent of casualties remains unclear.

The hospital in nearby Namsos raised its emergency preparedness level in response to the crash. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
