Wout van Aert secured his third consecutive stage victory at the PostNord Danmark Rundt on Thursday, winning the 202.9-kilometre queen stage from Fredericia to Vejle with a summit finish on Kiddesvej. The Belgian edged Slovak rider Lukas Kubis by two seconds in an uphill sprint, while Christophe Laporte finished third, four seconds back.
Van Aert now leads the general classification by 20 seconds over Kubis, with Laporte a further 10 seconds behind. The dominant run comes after his return to racing this week following an elbow injury that kept him out of the Tour de France, building on his previous overall victory at the Danish race in 2018.
