A Ukrainian drone attack sparked a major blaze at a Wildberries warehouse just outside St Petersburg early Friday, injuring three people, regional officials said.

The Russian e-commerce giant confirmed that two of its warehouses in the city temporarily halted operations following the strike. Explosions were reported by residents across the St Petersburg area before the fire broke out.

It is the third strike on a Wildberries facility in a week. A previous drone attack on a warehouse near Moscow killed eight night-shift workers. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has claimed the company's warehouses were used to supply sanctioned components for drone production.
