More than 400 drones were launched toward the Moscow region overnight, with 85 intercepted on approach to the capital and the remainder neutralised farther afield, according to Russian officials. At least 10 people were wounded, including three Chinese nationals, while damage was reported in Domodedovo, Podolsk and Odintsovo. An industrial site some 30 km south of Moscow caught fire, and a Wildberries logistics centre in Podolsk was pre-emptively evacuated after a separate warehouse belonging to the e-commerce firm was struck on Saturday. Russia's Investigative Committee has opened a terrorism probe into the assault, which unfolded between 8:30 p.m. and 5 a.m.

The drone barrage followed one of the largest Russian ballistic missile strikes on Kyiv in recent months, which killed one person and wounded 16. Six patients, including three foreign nationals, were admitted to a Domodedovo hospital with blast injuries.
