At least nine people were killed across Ukraine in overnight Russian attacks, with six dead and 19 wounded in Zaporizhzhia alone after what regional governor Ivan Fedorov described as a massive barrage of missiles and guided bombs.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia used North Korean ballistic missiles, along with Zircon missiles and guided aerial bombs, to strike Zaporizhzhia. The claim underscores the deepening military cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang following their 2024 defence pact. Three more people, including a 15-year-old boy, were killed in drone and artillery strikes on the Dnipropetrovsk region, while a warehouse fire in Kyiv left one person injured.

Russia's defence ministry said it had targeted military-industrial facilities and logistics hubs in Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia, claiming a strike on a warehouse complex storing up to 15,000 attack drones. Separately, Ukrainian drones attacked Moscow overnight, with 13 downed, and a drone strike in Russia's Voronezh region killed one person.
