Manchester City are closing in on a deal for Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, with the French club valuing the player at 100 million euros (£85m). The Premier League champions have held ongoing talks with Lille over the transfer as they reshape their midfield following last month's £116m arrival of Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest.

Barcelona remain confident of securing Rodri despite City dismissing their opening offer of around £40m as insufficient to warrant active negotiation. The Catalan club are considering their next approach for the Spain international.

Elsewhere, Real Madrid are targeting Arsenal's Martin Zubimendi, while Gabriel Jesus is open to joining Napoli. AS Roma have opened dialogue with Gabriel Martinelli's representatives, and both Barcelona and Tottenham have enquired about Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane.
