Liverpool are preparing to formalise their interest in Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola with an opening offer, with talks expected to commence in the coming days.
PSG value the France international at around £145m (€170m), though some indications suggest a figure closer to £128.5m (€150m) could be accepted. Liverpool, however, are keen to strike a deal nearer the £100m mark. Barcola has two years remaining on his contract and has indicated he will not sign an extension, with Arsenal also monitoring the situation.
Liverpool have already been active in the transfer market this summer, finalising the signings of Jérémy Jacquet from Rennes for an initial £55m and Víctor Muñoz from Osasuna. The club had initially pursued Yan Diomande but are now set to miss out, with the winger expected to join Real Madrid instead.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are confident Vinicius Junior will agree a new contract and remain at the club beyond this summer.
