Eight people were hospitalised after a coach carrying more than 50 passengers, mostly German school students, collided with a van and overturned on the A28 motorway near Wezep in Gelderland early Monday.
The coach rear-ended the van at around 04:15, veered and rolled onto its side, coming to rest on the opposite carriageway. The van was split in two by the force of the impact. The coach was travelling from Austria. Among those hospitalised was the van's driver.
