A Ukrainian drone strike ignited a massive fire at a Wildberries logistics complex in the Voronezh region on Tuesday, killing one person and hospitalising two others, Governor Alexander Gusev said. Flames engulfed two warehouses in the village of Alexandrovka, one localised at 16,000 square metres and another still burning across 20,000 square metres. Wildberries confirmed the attack and said staff were evacuated.

The 153,000-square-metre facility, which opened in November 2025 with an investment of roughly 11 billion roubles, is the latest casualty in a sustained campaign against the e-commerce giant. Since mid-July, Ukrainian drones have struck at least 20 Wildberries facilities across multiple Russian regions, including a warehouse in Yekaterinburg, 2,000 km from the Ukrainian border.

Satellite imagery indicates Wildberries has lost roughly a fifth of its warehouse capacity, with estimated direct damages of up to 200 billion roubles. The company is reportedly relocating some warehouses to Kazakhstan. Wildberries has assisted the Russian military in procuring sanctioned goods such as body armour and helmets.
