Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Israel international Anan Khalaili from Belgian champions Royale Union Saint-Gilloise on a contract running until 2031, the Premier League club announced Saturday.
The Eagles paid a fee of around £21 million for the 21-year-old, who can operate as a wing-back or winger, with the deal including an option for an additional year. Khalaili becomes the fifth signing under manager Pierre Sage as Palace prepare for their Europa League campaign.
Khalaili joins after helping Union Saint-Gilloise win their first Belgian Pro League title in 90 years and a Belgian Cup. He brings European experience, having scored three goals in the Champions League last season, including two against Marseille and one against Atalanta. The move follows a failed transfer to Inter Milan after the player did not pass medical tests with the Italian club.
