Celtic have completed the signing of Denmark international forward Kasper Høgh from Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt in what the club confirmed as a record transfer on Tuesday following a medical examination.
The Scottish champions are paying approximately 11 million pounds, equivalent to roughly 96 million Danish kroner, with additional add-ons, eclipsing the club's previous spending benchmark. Høgh has agreed a four-year deal with an option for a further year and will wear the number nine shirt.
The 25-year-old departs Bodø/Glimt after scoring 54 goals and providing 22 assists in 103 appearances across two and a half seasons with the Norwegian club, a prolific run that prompted Celtic to break their transfer ceiling to secure his services.
