Celtic sign striker Camilo Duran from Qarabag in £6 million deal

Celtic have completed the capture of striker Camilo Duran from Qarabag for an estimated fee of £6 million, marking the club's first acquisition of the summer window. The Colombian forward has committed to a five-year contract and will wear the number 11 shirt.

Duran arrives at Parkhead after a productive campaign in Azerbaijan, where he recorded 15 goals and 10 assists across 45 appearances for Qarabag, including five goals in 10 Champions League outings. He could make his debut in a friendly against Sporting CP next Tuesday.

In other squad news, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has agreed to a one-year extension after finishing last season on loan at the club. Celtic open their Scottish Premiership title defence at home to Dundee on August 3.
