The 80,663-capacity MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, will host the final. Average ticket prices hit 12,751 dollars on secondary marketplace SeatGeek by Friday, surpassing the 2024 Super Bowl average by more than 2,000 dollars. The average resale price of 9,899 euros makes it the most expensive sporting event ever, according to market data, with field-level seats commanding above 10,000 euros. FIFA released an additional batch of 1,500 tickets a week ago, though the cheapest available seat on Friday evening still cost 8,288 dollars.
The tournament has drawn nearly 6.5 million spectators overall, with stadiums filled to over 99 percent capacity throughout the competition.
