Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company reported record monthly revenue in July, reaching NT$467.58 billion (US$14.51 billion) and surpassing the previous high set just a month earlier, after the chipmaker outlined plans to secure additional supply capacity for AI-driven demand.
July sales climbed 44.7 percent from a year earlier and rose 5.6 percent from June, extending a streak of monthly gains. Consolidated revenue for the first seven months of 2026 totaled NT$2.87 trillion, up 37 percent year-on-year. The company has forecast third-quarter revenue between US$44.6 billion and US$45.8 billion, while raising its full-year sales growth projection to slightly above 40 percent in dollar terms.
TSMC, which posted a 77.4 percent year-on-year jump in second-quarter net profit, has also lifted its 2026 capital expenditure forecast to between US$60 billion and US$64 billion and announced an additional US$100 billion investment in Arizona as it expands advanced manufacturing footprint abroad.
