Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with Manchester City over a potential double signing of Savinho and Omar Marmoush as the club pushes for attacking reinforcements before the September 1 transfer deadline. No agreement has been reached, though negotiations are understood to be progressing.

Savinho, 22, extended his City contract to 2031 last October but has struggled for regular playing time and was left out of the Community Shield squad. Marmoush, 27, has scored 16 goals in 16 appearances but has largely served as a backup since joining City in January 2025. Spurs also want to sign Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo and a centre-forward before the window closes.

Head coach Roberto De Zerbi has insisted two or three further additions are needed. Tottenham have already spent heavily this summer on six new players, including significant outlays on midfielders Sandro Tonali and Matheus Fernandes.
