Tate brothers reported to UK counter-terror police over Russia video

· Society GBRUSARUS

Andrew and Tristan Tate have been reported to Britain's counter-terror policing unit over a self-documented trip to a Russian military facility, amid scrutiny of a potential breach of national security laws. The complaint was filed by Alicia Kearns, a Conservative MP and shadow home minister, who raised concerns about whether the brothers received direction or assistance from the Russian state during the visit. The complaint centers on a 43-minute video posted in June 2025 showing the siblings in camouflage gear and body armour at a military base, riding a T-80BV tank, handling weapons and throwing grenades. A Tate representative said the visit was private and personal, with no payment or direction from the Russian state. The brothers remain in federal custody in Miami since their 18 July arrest, fighting extradition to Britain on charges including rape and human trafficking.
