A small aircraft crashed into a single-family home in Ganderkesee, Lower Saxony, striking the roof of the residence shortly after 11:00 local time on Friday.
Police were initially unable to confirm casualties at the scene. However, the pilot was killed in the crash, German media reported. Emergency services are searching for a second person who was on board the aircraft at the time of the incident.
Authorities have not confirmed whether any occupants of the house were injured in the crash. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
