Two people died and two others were seriously injured when a four-seat light aircraft crashed into difficult terrain near Gaming in eastern Austria on Sunday, authorities said.
The aircraft went down in a heavily inaccessible area, complicating rescue efforts. Among the dead were a man and a second person who had not yet been identified, officials said. The two survivors — a man and a woman — sustained serious injuries.
All four people on board the aircraft were accounted for following the crash. The cause of the accident was not immediately known.
