The Italian leads their head-to-head 10-4 and has won their last nine meetings, with Zverev's most recent victory coming three years ago. Analysts including Greg Rusedski and Eugenie Bouchard have tipped Sinner to prevail.
Second seed Zverev, the reigning French Open champion, has dropped only two sets through the tournament and is the first German man to reach the Wimbledon final since Boris Becker in 1995.
