Jannik Sinner advanced to the Wimbledon semi-finals for a second straight year, defeating Jan-Lennard Struff 7-5, 7-6 (7-4), 6-3 on Court 1 on Tuesday. The victory marks the 10th Grand Slam semi-final of Sinner's career.
Sinner, who served 16 aces in sweltering conditions with temperatures reaching 30C, has not dropped a set through four matches at this year's tournament. The match lasted just under two and a half hours.
Sinner awaits the winner of the quarter-final between Novak Djokovic and Felix Auger-Aliassime. The Italian entered the tournament having previously held a 30-match winning streak before his defeat at Roland Garros earlier this season.
