A Russian drone strike on a civilian minibus in southern Ukraine killed four people and wounded five others on Wednesday morning, regional authorities said.

The attack occurred around 8:50 a.m. local time in Kherson's Korabelni district when an explosives-laden drone hit the roof of the vehicle, said Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional military administration. The wounded included the driver and four female passengers. The driver then drove the damaged vehicle to a hospital. A separate drone strike in the city later that morning killed a woman and wounded a man.

President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attack, calling it a "safari", and pledged retaliation while urging allies to increase pressure on Moscow. The regional prosecutor's office opened a war crimes investigation.
