British singer Rod Stewart has cancelled the remaining dates of his "One Last Time" tour across the United States and Mexico after undergoing a coronary stent procedure. The 81-year-old successfully underwent the routine surgery, and his medical team reported a satisfactory recovery.
On doctors' advice, Stewart will take four weeks off to regain full fitness before returning to the stage. The cancellations affect all remaining North American dates that were scheduled through mid-September, including six performances at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The decision followed the postponement of a Sunday concert in Cincinnati and a Tuesday show in Cleveland after what was initially described as an unforeseen minor medical procedure.
Stewart has faced multiple health-related cancellations this year, including suspended Las Vegas shows in May and a June incident in Utah where he required oxygen during a performance. Writing on Instagram, the singer said he was already feeling much better.
