Jon Bon Jovi ended his concert at Madison Square Garden after roughly 90 minutes on Thursday, citing a sinus infection that prevented him from continuing.
The 64-year-old apologised to fans and asked them to hold on to their tickets, promising a rescheduled date. The performance was the eighth show in a nine-night residency at the New York venue, part of his Forever Tour, which began on July 7. Bon Jovi is already scheduled to return to the stage at Madison Square Garden on July 26.
A spokesperson confirmed the singer had been battling the infection, which led to the early exit.
