Roxette cancels 14 North American tour dates citing soaring costs

Roxette has scrapped 14 concerts across the United States and Canada scheduled between 10 September and 9 October, the band announced on Instagram on Friday. Promoter Live Nation US made the decision to postpone the North American leg, citing logistical challenges and sharply increased touring expenses.

Per Gessle told Hallandsposten that he and bandmate Lena Philipsson are disappointed, noting they had been looking forward to the autumn run. The tour would have included 12 US dates and two Canadian shows.

Philipsson joined Roxette as lead vocalist in spring 2025, succeeding the late Marie Fredriksson. Ticket holders have been contacted by email and will receive refunds through Ticketmaster.
