Real Madrid have completed the signing of Spanish striker Carlos Espí from Levante after triggering his 25 million euro release clause, the clubs announced Thursday.

Espí, who arrives on a five-year contract running through June 2031, is the fifth addition Madrid have made this summer window, joining Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konaté and Denzel Dumfries among the club's recent arrivals. Madrid are also nearing the sale of striker Gonzalo García to Fulham for approximately 40 million euros.

The forward leaves Levante after three seasons, 66 appearances and 20 goals. He debuted with the first team in February 2024 and was instrumental in the club's promotion to LaLiga EA Sports, scoring six goals in that campaign. He followed up by finishing as Levante's top scorer in his first top-flight season with 11 goals and was named the league's best under-23 player last season.
