Jasper Philipsen won stage 17 of the 2026 Tour de France, sprinting to victory on a 174.7-kilometre route from Chambéry to Voiron. The Belgian edged out Mauro Schmid and Olav Kooij in the finale, where teammate Mathieu van der Poel played a decisive lead-out role.
The stage was his 11th career Tour de France victory and his first of this year's race. The result trimmed his deficit in the points classification to seven points behind leader Mads Pedersen.
In the general classification, Tadej Pogačar retained a 4-minute-32-second lead over second-placed Remco Evenepoel, with Isaac del Toro a further two minutes back in third heading into the Alpine stages.
