Lindström transfer to Schalke collapses amid contract dispute

A proposed move of Danish midfielder Jesper Lindström to newly promoted Bundesliga club FC Schalke 04 has fallen through, after the player had already arrived in Germany to finalise the deal Lindström was in Germany to sign the contract.
