Substitute Ferran Torres scored two second-half goals to rescue Paris Saint-Germain a 2-2 draw against Stade Rennais in the Ligue 1 2026/27 season opener at Roazhon Park on Monday.

Rennes led 2-0 at halftime after Sebastian Szymanski opened the scoring in the 21st minute and Lepaul doubled the advantage before the break. Manager Luis Enrique responded by withdrawing Ousmane Dembélé and introducing Torres at the interval, a move that reshaped the match. Torres struck his first goal in the 71st minute and added a second in the 82nd, both set up by Fabián Ruiz.

The brace marked Torres's first goals since joining PSG on August 15 in a transfer valued at nearly 50 million euros. His impact within his first 45 minutes on the pitch secured a point for the visitors.
