Arsenal have confirmed Leandro Trossard is joining Besiktas in a transfer worth £17 million, with an initial fee of £15.3 million plus £1.7 million in add-ons. The Belgian winger has arrived in Turkey to undergo a medical before finalising the move, having had one season remaining on his contract at the Emirates.
The departure clears space for manager Mikel Arteta to pursue priority target Morgan Rogers as part of an overhaul on the left side of his attack. Trossard leaves after 174 appearances and 36 goals for the Gunners, including eight goals and 11 assists across all competitions in the 2025-26 campaign.
Besiktas are offering a three-year deal with an option for a further year. Trossard also scored twice and assisted three times at last month's World Cup.
