Phil Foden has signed a new four-year contract with Manchester City, extending his stay at the club until the summer of 2030. The deal includes an additional 12-month option and replaces a previous agreement that was due to expire in 2027.
The 26-year-old joined the City academy at age eight in 2008 and made his first-team debut at 17 under Pep Guardiola. He has since accumulated 369 senior appearances, scoring 110 goals, and is one of only 20 players to surpass 100 goals for the club. Foden has won six Premier League titles, one Champions League, and two FA Cups among his honours.
The extension comes after a challenging close to the season. Foden started only two league matches after March 2026 and was omitted from Thomas Tuchel's England World Cup squad in May.
