Kimi Antonelli won the Belgian Grand Prix on Sunday, converting pole position into his sixth victory in 10 rounds and extending his Formula 1 championship lead to 45 points over Lewis Hamilton.
The Mercedes driver started from the front at Spa-Francorchamps after edging Max Verstappen by more than three-tenths of a second in Saturday qualifying, his largest pole margin of the season. Charles Leclerc finished second, 1.952 seconds back, while Verstappen placed third, securing Red Bull's 300th podium.
The race was disrupted early when George Russell crashed out on the first lap following a collision with Hamilton. Several drivers, including Lando Norris and Fernando Alonso, served grid penalties for power-unit component changes. The season continues at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
