Israeli military operations killed at least nine Palestinians across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, including a senior Hamas police officer and a 10-year-old boy, local health officials said.

An airstrike on a police station in the western Jabalia refugee camp killed eight people, including a female officer and the station chief, with bodies transferred to Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City. The Israeli military confirmed it targeted "terrorists" in the area. Separately, Israeli gunfire killed a 10-year-old boy in Rafah in southern Gaza, and another strike in Khan Younis killed a 36-year-old man.

The violence follows Sunday's strikes that killed five Palestinians. At least 1,110 Palestinians have been killed since the October ceasefire took effect, while Israel has lost five soldiers and one civilian contractor over the same period.
