Elsewhere, Dynamo Dresden won 6-0 at Westfalia Rhynern and 1. FC Magdeburg beat Bahlinger SC 4-0. However, Bundesliga side 1. FC Heidenheim suffered a shock 5-2 defeat at fourth-tier SSV Jeddeloh II. VfL Bochum edged SpVgg Greuther Fürth 2-1, and SV Darmstadt 98 overcame Carl Zeiss Jena 2-1.
