Céline Dion is preparing to return to the stage with a series of concerts in Paris beginning 12 September, marking her first major performances since pausing her career in 2020 due to Stiff Person Syndrome. The 58-year-old Canadian singer will perform 16 shows at the La Défense Arena through 17 October, with additional dates planned into May 2027.
Dion revealed in an interview with Harper's Bazaar that she trains intensively to manage the progressive neurological condition, doing 90-minute Pilates sessions three times a week and ballet classes twice a week. She was formally diagnosed in 2022 after 17 years of worsening symptoms that forced her to cancel the Courage World Tour in 2023.
The Paris residency is already sold out. Her only other recent public performance was at the 2024 Paris Olympics, the same year she released the documentary I Am: Céline Dion.
